Delta College's 87th Annual Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2022

  Celebrate the Delta College Class of 2022 at 6 p.m. on May 19, 2022! 

Please note that graduates and guests will be required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event. Bring your vaccination card or a photo of your vaccination card, or a screenshot from the state’s COVID-19 database. “Vaccination” is defined as both shots of Pfizer/Moderna or a single Johnson & Johnson; a booster shot is not required to attend Commencement. To provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test, bring a printout or email of a test center, or take a photo of your negative take-home test. These COVID-19 protocol apply to all guests who are eligible for vaccination, including children 5 years and older. 

• Masks will be required indoors in accordance with College policies. If you are sick, please stay home and do not attend the ceremony.
• Given these COVID-19 protocol, we strongly recommend that you plan ahead! We recommend guests park and arrive at the venue by 4:30 p.m., approximately 1½ hours before the ceremony begins, as there may be lines to enter the facility. Please be sure to have your proof of vaccination/negative COVID-19 test documentation handy and ready to display. Guests should also have their tickets readily available; tickets are being distributed directly to graduates.

Please note that the arena will be using the following security procedures for all events. Please plan accordingly. 

• Walk thru metal detectors at all entrances of the facility; all patrons will walk through a metal detector prior to gaining access to the arena. If needed, security will perform pat downs on patrons in addition to the metal detectors. 

• Bags larger than 10" x 8" x 6” will not be permitted into the arena, this includes backpacks, purses, and diaper bags.   

• Camera policy is set by the show, best practice suggests no cameras for events. 

• No weapons of any kind will be permitted into the arena. 

• No outside food or beverage will be permitted into the arena. 

• We are a cashless facility! All points of sale within the venue are no longer accepting cash. Please be prepared to pay with your credit card, debit card or mobile pay. Thank you! 

• The arena is a no smoking facility, there is no designated smoking area. 

• The arena has a no re-entry policy. 

We encourage you to plan accordingly for traffic in the City, parking and long lines when entering the arena.
