A fan favorite event returns on Jan. 24 when the Thunder invite fans to toss stuffed animals onto the ice after the Thunder’s first goal during Teddy Bear Toss.
Fans are encouraged to bring stuffed animals to the game that will be donated to local children. Local Fire Departments assist in picking up the stuffed animals and the United Way of San Joaquin County distributes them to local agencies.
Last season a total of 5,243 were donated to local children after Alex MacLeod scored the teams’ fastest goal in Teddy Bear Toss history, just 2:48 into the game.
