Event Details
On March 22 at 8 pm, the University of the Pacific Brubeck Institute will host a concert at the Bob Hope Theater featuring Jazz at Lincoln Center with Wynton Marsalis, a world-renowned jazz trumpeter-composer and nine time Grammy winner.
The French Quarter will start the festivities on Main Street in front of the Theater before the concert. It is designed as a street fair with a New Orleans twist. Food booths will scent the area with flavors of Cajun and French cuisines while live jazz bands will play live on an outdoor stage. Event participants will be able to purchase beads and masks and sip hurricanes in colorful glasses. A variety of strolling entertainment, like jugglers, fortune tellers and musicians, will also add to the festivities.
