The CCAA Baseball Tournament will return to Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton in May 2016, with a new look.

The 2016 version will feature two additional clubs, increasing the field size from four to six teams, mirroring the format of the NCAA West Regional Baseball Tournament.

“The CCAA Baseball Tournament is one of the premier Division II events in any sport in the west,” said Matthews. “The addition of two more teams will make an outstanding event even more competitive. And Banner Island Ballpark is an excellent facility, one that has helped create a great experience for our teams and fans.”

The 2016 Tournament will be held Wednesday, May 11 through Saturday May 14. The winner of the event is the Conference’s automatic qualifier for the NCAA West Regional Baseball Tournament.
