Dinesh D'Souza is a bestselling author and filmmaker. D'Souza's film, Hillary’s America was the #1 documentary in 2016 while his films, 2016: Obama's America and America: Imagine A World Without Her, are respectively the #2 and #6 highest political documentaries of all time.
Born in Mumbai, India, Dinesh has truly lived the American Dream. He moved to the United States to attend high school on a Rotary Scholarship. Following graduation from Dartmouth University he went on to work in the Reagan White House as a policy analyst. D’Souza has served as a John M. Olin Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, and Robert and Karen Rishwain Fellow at Stanford University.
D’Souza has won numerous awards including “Best Documentary” for America: Imagine A World Without Her (The Dove Foundation), and he has been called one of the “top young public-policy makers in the country” by Investor’s Business Daily. Dinesh’s books, Hillary’s America and The Secret History of the Democratic Party, America: Imagine The World Without Her and 2016: Obama’s America, were each #1 on the New York Times bestseller list. His most recent book, Death of a Nation: Plantation Politics and the Making of the Democratic Party, was released in July of 2018 and hit #5 on the NYT bestseller list.
D’Souza’s newest documentary, Death of a Nation, was released August 3rd, 2018 in over 1,000 across the country to the dislike of critics but the praise of audiences. He earned a 90% audience approval rate from moviegoers nationwide.
